Safety & Support
At BTDM, our number one priority is establishing safety with the ministers and organizations we serve. We do this through the use of non-disclosure agreements and trauma informed care. Every session with a ministry leader is designed to create emotional and spiritual safety. It is geared towards loving support and biblical accountability. While we do set boundaries, goals, and encouragements for the ministers we serve (based on the prompting of the Holy Spirit and our inner healing experience), we cater all sessions towards a place of safety and individual support.
Authenticity
Our work is only effective when the leader is ready to be boldly authentic about the current status of their mental, emotional, spiritual, and even physical well-being. It is in that depth of vulnerability and honesty that the healing work can happen. When ministers do not share in confidence about their wounds, temptations, and weights then those things begin to bleed into and control their ministry. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 is our standard of authenticity in these sessions. When we are at our weakest is when the glory of God can be shown more profoundly.
Word & Spirit
We believe that inner healing and freedom work is most effective when it both biblically rooted/sound and Spirit lead. We believe in the active works and gifts of the Holy spirit and often incorporate prophecy into our sessions. However, we are equally passionate about biblical basis and equipping leaders with support that is biblically sound and spiritually transformative.
